Exploring igoogle presented many new possibilities for sharing documents and ideas. For shared writing with students and for shared programming with other teachers it is a fantastic resource. Not only do we save on time and energy, we are also saving so much paper. It means that sharing of documents within the school community can happen anywhere, any how.
The 'many to many' format of Web 2.0 is important to relfect on in terms of the contemporary learning community. It reinforces the idea that classrooms are becoming less and less teacher focused. The possibilities for peer teaching is endless. Imagine if each child had a blog and that is how we assessed their classroom learning?
